Breuninger says Off-White collection sells out in an hour

German retailer Breuninger launched a limited edition men’s capsule collection with Virgil Obloh’s Off-White this week, and all items sold out less than an hour after the brand’s stores opened in Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Nuremberg on Wednesday morning, according to the upmarket department store.

The collection was also sold out on Breuninger’s online store shortly after midnight.

The collaboration with the luxury streetwear label includes nine menswear styles. The shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, jeans and accessories (caps, socks and belts) featured the distinctive off-White logo in Breuninger’s orange shade.

The pre-launch event on Tuesday evening at the flagship store in Stuttgart was also a success. Selected customers and streetwear influencers such as Jean-Claude Mpassy and Willy Iffland were invited to interact with the collection and buy pieces ahead of the official launch a day later.

Breunigner said that Off-White fans who couldn’t get their hands on the collaboration can continue to buy the core collection in its department stores in Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Nuremberg and online.
