Brooks Brothers named the official brand for the US at Expo 2015

America’s oldest retailer, Brooks Brothers was named as the official apparel sponsor for the USA Pavilion at this year’s Expo 2015 in Milan. The company created custom uniforms for over 100 Student Ambassadors that are representing the United States’ best and brightest universities and colleges.

"Brooks Brothers is proud to be a partner and sponsor of the USA Pavilion at Expo Milano," said Claudio Del Vecchio, Brooks Brothers Chairman and CEO. "It is a significant and historic event and we feel strongly aligned with Expo's mission to showcase American innovators that strongly influence and shape our culture on a global scale."
 
The uniforms, which consist of the brand’s button-down shirts and navy blue blazers, were made in the US. The men on the team complete their outfits with a special edition necktie and the women accessorize with a custom silk scarf.

The company’s souvenir options of two signature ties, hats, and a denim apron were also made in the US and it will be sold exclusively at the USAP and at the Brooks Brothers flagship store in Milan.
 
The theme at this year’s Expo is, Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. The theme is a combination of technology, innovation, culture and traditions as it pertains to food and diet. The USA Pavilion’s theme is “American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet.”
