Switzerland’s Calida Group has posted strong financial results for 2018, with rises in both sales and profits supported by growth across all brands.

“The strong performance of all the brands and sales channels is the result of the systematic implementation of the corporate strategy defined in 2016,” CEO Reiner Pichler, said about the results.

Compared with the previous year, consolidated revenues grew 7.6% to 409.5 million Swiss francs (360.6 million euros).

In particular, the e-commerce business saw revenues rise 42.2% in 2018. The rise was driven by the acquisition of the online division of German e-commerce specialist Reich a year ago.

Overall, all areas of the group reported positive results: the Calida lingerie brand posted a 3.9% increase in sales (up 1.3% at constant currency) to 139.0 million Swiss francs. And Aubade increased sales by 1% to 56 million euros.

Meanwhile, outdoor specialist Millet Mountain grew 6% (6.4% at constant currency) to 101.4 million euros. Even the group’s fashion brand Oxbow was up 6.1%, making 28.4 million euros in sales.

Group net profit was 17.8 million Swiss francs (15.7 million euros), up 5.3% on the previous year.
