Clarks links with Zara for shoe collab

Collaborations continue to be a sure way to give brands a refreshing buzz or a way to update a product line. The latest is an unexpected tie-up between retail fashion giant Zara and footwear brand Clarks, giving the latter a platform to reboot and update some of its classic designs, including the Wallabee and Desert Boot.

Each ‘re-edition’ design in men's, women's and children’s options, comes with new chunky crepe soles to create a unique silhouette, Clarks said.

The Wallabee is available in pink and tan colourways for women, while the Desert Boot comes in orange and tan, 

Meanwhile, the men’s range includes tan and orange styles, with prices for both men’s and women’s ragnes starting from £129 for the Wallabee and £159 for the boot.

The kids line features the Desert Boot, available in an alternative colour brown as well as pink and tan are priced from £75 to £89.

The ranges will be exclusively available from selected Zara stores and on its website.

Clarks has also been busy beefing up its Originals brand with two collaborations over the last couple of months. The newest included the brand teaming up with acclaimed designer Salehe Bembury, to reinvent the brand’s Clarks Lugger, first introduced 40 years ago.
