Coty Chief Legal Officer Jules Kaufman to leave the company

Coty Inc. on Friday announced the departure of Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary Jules Kaufman. Greerson (Greer) McMullen will succeed Kaufman on October 24, 2016.
 

Kaufman had been with Coty for nine years and recently helped lead the company through its merger with the P&G Specialty Beauty Business. He had also been instrumental in Coty’s initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange, numerous acquisitions, and expansion to new territories. Kaufman is leaving the company to remain in the US and pursue other interests.
 
McMullen joins Coty from Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc. where he served as Executive Vice President, Strategy & Licensing; General Counsel & Secretary. Prior to SWM International, he worked at General Electric for almost eight years.

Kaufman will work with McMullen to ensure a smooth transition.
