Damir Doma to combine men's and women's collections in one show

And another one! It is now Damir Doma's turn to adopt the 'two shows in one' formula. Last year, the Croatian designer left Paris, where he had been showing since 2007, to set up shop in Milan. He has now announced that, starting from the Spring/Summer 2017, he will organise only one show each season, combining menswear and womenswear.

The new format will be first introduced on 19th June, during the Milan Menswear Fashion Week. The decision is chiefly motivated by operational reasons, since a June presentation will allow the brand more time to produce its collection.

The strategy is also part of the fashion label's restructuring effort, which began last year with the relocation of Damir Doma's studio to Milan, and has brought about a fusion between his main ready-to-wear collection and his second line, Silent.
