The Catalan denim event will be held on 18th and 19th November at the Fiera Barcelona exhibition centre. The show will bring together 87 exhibitors, 74% of them from Europe and the Europe-Mediterranean area, 24% from Asia (chiefly from Japan) and 2% from the USA.

This session of the specialist show by Première Vision will welcome six new exhibitors: three garment manufacturers/finishers/launderers from Turkey and Mauritius, two Italian and Chinese fabric manufacturers, and a yarn producer from South Korea. Exhibitors will represent 21 different nationalities, with the main delegations coming from Turkey (33%), Italy (14%), Spain (8%) and Morocco (8%).

In terms of specialisation, 52% of the exhibitors are fabric manufacturers, 19% garment manufacturers, launderers and finishers, 22% accessory manufacturers, 3% yarn producers and weavers, and 5% technology researchers and promotion companies. 80% of the exhibitors are regulars at the event.

The show for this season will feature a California-inspired stage setting, representing four great denim trends analysed by Première Vision for spring-summer 2017: Sandstorm, Living Wind, Skyline Code and Sunny Cloud. On 18th November, a Denim Trend Tasting will be held alongside the show's other conferences.

This is the fourth edition of Denim Première Vision taking place in Barcelona, after the show left Paris. It is also the second autumn edition held in Catalonia. The previous one attracted 3,905 denim professionals, compared to 3,200 a year earlier at the last Paris session.
