Egypt Arabia Cotton Ginning net jumps 48 pct in 07/08

CAIRO, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Egypt's Arabia Cotton Ginning ACGC.CA had a 47.6 percent rise in net profit in the financial year ending June to 204.38 million Egyptian pounds ($37.52 million), the stock market said on Monday.

Amwal Al Arabia Cottons, an affiliate of Arabia Cotton Ginning, acquired four cotton companies for a total of $75 million in January.

Shares in Egypt's biggest listed textiles company were trading 4.19 percent lower at 7.77 pounds by 1126 GMT amid a wider market sell-off. (Writing by Wael Gamal; Editing by Paul Bolding)
