FitFlop: Douglas Jakubowski appointed president of North America

British footwear company, FitFlop has named Douglas Jakubowski the new President of its North America division.

Jakubowski has exited Perry Ellis International, where he had been serving as chief merchandising officer for the past three and a half years, to join FitFlop, where he will be in charge of helping the company grow its American business.

The executive has over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry. Prior to his term at Perry Ellis, he served as President of Kenneth Cole Reaction and Corporate Relations and Chief Merchandising Officer of Kenneth Cole Productions.
