Fullbeauty names Emilie Arel as Chief Executive Officer

Plus-size fashion e-tailer Fullbeauty on Tuesday announced the appointment of Emilie Arel as Chief Executive Officer. She will join the plus size fashion authority in the coming months, and will succeed acting -CEO and board member Seth Brody, a partner and global head of the Operational Excellence Practice at Apax Partners.

 
Arel brings to Fullbeauty years of operating experience in apparel merchandising, retail technology, marketing and e-commerce. She heads to the online retailer from Amazon subsidiary Quidsi, a retail technology company with a portfolio of six e-commerce sites, where she served as SVP of retail and most recently as CEO.
 
Prior to Quidsi, Arel worked at Gap from 2007 to 2014 and Target from 2001 to 2007.
