G-Star Raw collaborates with Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen

Denim brand G-Star Raw is launching six limited-edition styles curated by Belgian-Dutch Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen and the G-Star design team.

The collection introduces the Radar jeans in an updated fit and with thick embroidered pocket arches, and includes a jersey t-shirt, a zipped hoodie, a Max Core graphic sweatshirt and the XPO Badge overshirt.

Available to buy online, the range combines G-Star’s denim culture with Verstappen’s laid-back style. The 21-year old racing driver is well-known in the motorsport scene, becoming the youngest driver to compete in Formula One at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix.

He is tipped to take on one of F1’s greatest, Lewis Hamilton, this year.

On his collaboration with G-Star Raw, he said: “I’ve always had this drive to become better. To reach for more. To go further. And to work together with a brand that feels the same way and has shared roots, is very exciting.”

The collection launched online on Wednesday.
