Glossier is hoping that it has bottled the key to a glowing complexion.

The cult beauty brand this week launched ‘Futuredew,' an oil-serum hybrid that aims to deliver a long-lasting glow when incorporated into skincare routines.

Featuring a lightweight formula that includes nourishing oils and plant-based extracts, the serum promises to offer the "moisturizing, brightening benefits of skincare, and the light-reflecting, soft-focus finish you usually get from makeup." While jojoba, grape seed, evening primrose, and rosehip oils hydrate the skin, Evodia Rutaecarpa Extract enhances brightness and light-reflecting minerals deliver a dewy sheen.

"When developing Futuredew, we started with a face oil -- but traditional oils are so quickly absorbed that their dewy sheen can't last (and they can feel greasy)," the brand explained via Instagram. "That's how we landed on an oil serum hybrid."

Futuredew, which is designed to be worn alone or under makeup, is the latest in a series of major launches for Glossier. The brand, a millennial favorite, rolled out two new lipgloss shades in July, as well as its debut ‘Bubblewrap' eye cream in April, and a whole new color cosmetics line called 'Glossier Play' that was unveiled in March. It also stepped into the fashion merchandise space this summer with the launch of a limited-edition ‘GlossiWear' line in July, comprising eight apparel and accessories pieces.
