Gucci: Susan Chokachi promoted as America's CEO

Susan Chokachi continues her rise within Gucci. The executive has in fact been put in charge of the US subsidiary of the Kering group's luxury label, in the role of President and CEO of Gucci America, a spokesperson for the label stated. She succeeds Christophe de Pous, who has stepped down from the role.

It is a well-earned promotion for Chokachi, who joined Gucci America in 1998 and took on ever-increasing responsibilities, until in 2009 she was appointed Senior Vice-President for Marketing and Communications, also in charge of the label's US executive management and of special events supervision.

In the past, Chokachi worked in Giorgio Armani's communications department in the USA.
