Happy Socks opens third New York City store in Times Square

Swedish brand Happy Socks has opened its third New York City store in bustling Times Square, as part of its continued U.S. expansion plan. 

Located at 1588 Broadway, the 345-square-foot store channels the brand's colorful, playful aesthetic and offers a variety of its popular eye-catching sock and underwear designs.

Highlights of the Times Square store's offering include Happy Socks’ Fall/Winter 2018 collection and limited-edition pieces from collaborations with The Andy Warhol Foundation and Wiz Khalifa, as well as the glittering range of socks and tights from the Fall/Winter 2018 collection of Hysteria by Happy Socks.

The newest store follows the Swedish brand's two additional U.S. store openings in the fall of this year, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Venice, California. 

Launched in the spring of 2008, Happy Socks was acquired by private equity company Palamon Capital Partners in January of 2017. This new wave of development for the label follows an investment of $4.5 million in expansion funding from the new majority shareholder. 

According to the brand's website, Happy Socks products are currently available in over 90 countries around the world.
