Changes at the top: Anthony Lucia is stepping down from his post as CEO of Hugo Boss Americas and will leave the company on 31 December.

Stephan Born, currently managing director of the Hugo Boss business in Northern Europe, the Middle East and India, will take over as the head of the Americas division on 1 November.

Born brings many years of experience in the wholesale and retail sector as well as in-depth knowledge of the specific requirements of the North American market, according to the German luxury brand.

"I am very pleased to take on this role within Hugo Boss at the time,” Born commented on his appointment. It seems the executive is not afraid to take on challenges: the Americas business experienced a 3% decline in sales in the second quarter, and was one of the main reasons the company was forced to issue a profit warning earlier this month.

Born will report directly to CEO Mark Langer.
