Instagram adds ability to zoom in

The latest change to come to Instagram is the launch of a ‘pinch to zoom’ feature, which lets users zoom in on a photo or video.

The feature is first debuting on Instagram’s iPhone app and will be launched for Android in the coming weeks.

In the past months the image sharing platform, part of Facebook, has introduced a series of changes, from a new icon to the recently launched Stories format. Launched in August, the feature creates slideshows from multiple photos and videos.
