Denim manufacturer Isko has announced the winners of the Denim Design and Marketing award for the fourth edition of ISKO I-SKOOL, its educational project.

The contest involved more than 60,000 students from all over the world. Every winner was awarded with internships with the brands that support the initiative.

The winner of the Marketing award was the team led by Sara Giordano (Polimoda), awarded by Diana Profir (Itema). The winner of the Best Seller award was Massimiliano Mucciarelli (Università Iuav di Venezia), awarded by Adriano Goldschmied. The winner of the Responsible Innovation award was Morine Uramoto (BUNKA Fashion College), awarded by Tricia Carey (Lenzing). Winner of the Best Show Piece award was Sara Armellin (Polimoda), awarded by Silvia Lo Giudice and Massimo Pasqualon (Peter Non). Winner of the Reca award was Mianchen Wang (The New School – Parsons), awarded by Paolo Diacci (Reca Group). The winner of the Swarovski award was Giulia Masciangelo (NABA), awarded by Claudio Marcolli (Swarovski).

Students were asked to create denim outfits for the season of their choice, following the theme GENDERFUL, a celebration of the new and inclusive ways to conceive the many models of self-expression that transcend traditional gender categories to promote new and evolving forms of identity. The students’ creations were evaluated by the Denim Design award jury.

For the Marketing award, students were asked to design a strategic marketing plan and its tactical actions in order to explain and give value to one of the foremost themes in global fashion agenda today, the connection between fashion and sustainability, aesthetics and best practices.
