J Brand Spring/Summer 2015 campaign: a modernist aesthetic

Here's the brand new campaign from the American label, which was shot by regular Vogue lensman Josh Olins, and stars supermodel Daria Strokous. 

J Brand has unveiled a slick new advertising campaign set in the desert. The brand teamed up for the shoot with British photographer Josh Olins, who has recently shot for Vogue and i-D as well as snapping this season's campaigns for Mugler with Josephine Le Tutour and the Simply Jil Sander fragrance adverts featuring Toni Garrn. 

The campaign was shot on location at The Dust House in Tucson, Arizona, with 24-year-old Russian model Daria Strokous, a regular star in Raf Simons' campaigns and shows at Christian Dior. The black and white images contrast Strokous's clean outfits against the concrete-style 'Rammed Earth' walls of the modernist getaway located in the Sonoran Desert. The images were styled by Alastair McKimm with Esther Langham on hair and Sally Branka on makeup duties.
