Karen Millen adds new premium label

Published
Dec 1, 2020

Boohoo Group may be best known for its affordable fast fashion, but the Karen Millen brand that it previously acquired has now launched a new premium collection called Black Label.

Karen Millen Black Label

It's an ambitious move coming at a time when consumers haven't exactly been focused on buying fashion and when casualwear and loungewear looks have been the top sellers.

The new offer is described as the “ultimate curation of investment pieces, an edit of luxurious dresses, separates and outerwear with a considered focus on exquisite materials. Made from the highest-quality leathers and Italian fabrics, each piece is designed to add a note of exclusivity to your wardrobe”.

Materials used include Italian jersey, viscose and wool blends “that fit like a glove” with four-way stretch that also minimises creases.

Double-faced compact fabrics are used on tailoring pieces “for a crisp, sculpted finish”.

The pieces have been designed to stand outside seasonal trends with classic shapes for pencil dresses, sharp blazers and the tailored trousers. An edit of leather pieces is also included.

Prices start at 399 and rise to £450.
