L’Eclaireur to open a store in Los Angeles

L’Eclaireur is set to land in Los Angeles next spring. The company, headed by Armand and Martine Hadida, will be opening a 6,500-ft2 store in West Hollywood. But it’s not going to be any old store. "It will recall a gallery setting,” said Armand Hadida. "With clothing, works of art and furniture," added Martine.

Clearly, the couple is attracted by the west coast city's energy and sunshine. “A place full of new ideas, where everythig seems easier than elsewhere (in Europe, ed)," according to Martine.

Los Angeles also has a very personal appeal for L’Eclaireur’s founders. Their daughter, Meryl, and her American husband live there. Indeed, Meryl will oversee the store.

The location will be the only L'Eclaireur outside of Paris, where the company now has seven stores, including one in the famous flea market, les Puces de Saint-Ouen.
