Lazy Bee to sell new Smiley sportswear line across Korea

Known by its yellow happy face logo, Smiley has signed a deal with sports retailer Lazy Bee, to produce a new line of sportswear across stores in Korea. 

Situated in shopping centres and major department stores across Korea, LazyBee will make available the exclusive collection, offering a full range of Smiley-branded sports leisurewear, casual apparel, swimwear and accessories. 

 
Founded by Franklin Loufrani in 1971, the brand said hopes to grow its presence in the sportswear sector and in the Asia Pacific market, backed by a demand for "fashionable sportswear in the market today," according to a statement.
 
The new collection with LazyBee will "fuse innovative styling with form & functionality to create a collection that is dedicated to the casual sport enthusiast and underpinned by happy and positive sentiments," it added.

LazyBee will be selling the Smiley collection in at least 30 of its Korean stores, as well as online.
