Lipsy restructures its wholesale & international merchandising departments

Young British brand Lipsy has cut a number of jobs at its London headquarters following a review of its business needs, as it continues to grow its footprint overseas.

“Lipsy is making strategic changes to its wholesale and international merchandising departments following a restructure designed to meet the changing needs of the business,” said a spokesperson.

The company sells trend-led looks for young, glamorous young women and during 2015 it expanded with 8 new international franchise locations. This year the label plans to enter Egypt and continue driving overseas expansion with existing franchise partners across the Middle East and South Africa.

“Our proposed restructures will support the growing needs of our international partners,” said the spokesperson.
