Lululemon collaborates with Robert Geller for new capsule collection

Published

Lululemon has partnered with designer Robert Geller for a limited-edition collection, set to make its public debut during New York Fashion Week on February 5.

The Robert Geller x Lululemon collection, called "Take the Moment," was made through a collaboration between Lululemon's senior vice president of men's design, Ben Stubbington and Geller. - Via Lululemon

Described by the athleticwear brand as a collection that "explores the life of Robert Geller over a 96-hour period," the 12-piece collection was made to transition from workouts to lifestyle wear and travel seamlessly, featuring Lululemon's high-performance materials. According to a brand representative, the collection can be worn by either gender.

The Robert Geller x Lululemon collection, called "Take the Moment," was made through a collaboration between Lululemon's senior vice president of men's design Ben Stubbington and Geller. Pieces include short-sleeve and collared shirts, tanks, pants, hooded 1/2 zips, jackets and shorts.

Designs feature Geller's choice of darker color combinations and unique fabric textures and design lines, as well as bold linear taping and signature tie-dye washes.

Several pieces feature a graphic wordmark of the word "Reflect," an homage to one of Geller's personal mantras, which would also appear to play well with the philosophy of mindfulness promoted by the current wellness trend.

The Take the Moment Collection will be available online and in select Lululemon stores globally starting May 6, 2019, with prices ranging from $68 to $398.
