Located on New Street in Birmingham’s city centre, the 450-square-metre retail space also sells a range of Lush cosmetics, including makeup. It will be the second store in the world to offer the full range after its launch in London’s Oxford Street.

And the brand’s new range of 50 vegan lipsticks in the colours most requested from customers will launch in Birmingham ahead of its nationwide launch on 10 December.

Lush operates more than 932 stores worldwide, but only some of them offer spa treatments. Introduced several years ago, the treatments range from quick massages for aches and pains to 90-minute full-body treatments performed to a bespoke orchestral playlist inspired by the planets.

In total, there are seven Lush Spa locations across Britain in cities including London, Bath, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Leeds and Poole.

Lush has been busy opening stores and launching new ranges of late, moving fast with new innovations to get ahead of consumer demand. Recently, the retailer opened its first packaging free stores in Italy and Germany, and unveiled a tech-powered retail space dedicated to its bath bombs in Japan.

Additionally, the company has been pulling out all the stops to showcase its new beauty and makeup ranges to differentiate itself as an eco-friendly brand amid growing consumer awareness of the beauty industry’s environmental impact.
