Mango strengthens logistics team with two appointments

Spanish clothing brand Mango is strengthening its logistics team with two new appointments. Jose Ignacio Ejido and Sergio Marquez will take up newly created roles.

Mango announces two key hires - Mango

Ejido will be responsible for the brand’s supply chain projects and operations and has “nine years of experience leading projects and developing logistics models, as well as managing and analysing costs,” the label told FashioNetwork.com.

The executive has worked at Esprit for the last three and a half years, holding senior roles in the areas of logistics, marketing and retail.

Meanwhile, Marquez has been named new project manager of supply chain. He has also experience in the sector, having worked at Zara in the areas of logistics and distribution.

The appointment of two new executives comes four months after Mango named a new director of logistics and supply chain. In October, the fast fashion chain also promoted Toni Ruiz to general manager, and it announced Josep Barbera as new head of finance in January.
