From September 1, Gabriele Betti will be the new General Manager of Marionnaud France, taking over from Eileen Yeo, who is stepping down for personal reasons. Formerly with Goldman Sachs Asia, Eileen Yeo took charge of the perfumery retailer in France in 2013, tasked with bringing freshness to the group, which faced stiff competition from Sephora (of the LVMH group) and others such as Kiko Milano.

Her successor, Gabriele Betti, knows Marionnaud well: he joined the group in 2007 and has been at the helm of its Italian subsidiary since 2013. Arianna Di Prospero, currently CFO for Marionnaud in Italy, will succeed Gabriele Betti.

Nearly half of Marionnaud's stores are located in France, where 240 of the group's 510 local stores also operate a beauty institute.

Half of Marionnaud's revenue comes from France, and half from outside of the country. The premium perfumery retailer was founded in 1984, and in 2005 it was acquired by Chinese group A.S. Watson, owned by Hutchinson Whampoa.
