Mayfair Maison luxe fashion archive pop-up to open next month

This one is certainly for experience seekers and lovers of discounted high-end fashion. It’s called the Mayfair Maison, a concept in designer shopping that will open its doors on 23 September at 38 Grosvenor Square, London.

Stocking “hundreds of fashion finds” from a host of British-based luxury designers, the boutique experience has just one catch: it’s a pop-up store open for just three days.

Featuring “designers’ most iconic pieces” at up to 60% discounts, the Georgian townhouse in Grosvenor Square, the Mayfair Maison will feature Huishan Zhang, Jenny Packham, J&M Davidson, Malone Souliers, Pringle of Scotland, Roksanda, and jewellery designer Stephen Webster among others, “all coming together for the first time to sell at exclusive prices”. 

Operated by industry expert Showcase, Mayfair Maison will focus on ex-catwalk collections, limited edition archive pieces as well as timeless designer and celebrity favourite pieces. 

The latter includes Malone Souliers Montana cutout ankle boots worn by Naomie Harris on the red carpet for £380 and Roksanda’s PF19 Raeya dress worn by Emily Blunt at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2019 for £450. Also among the curated designer collections are Stephen Webster’s Lady Stardust Bolt Ring worn by Dua Lipa for the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville Spain, and Huishan Zhang’s dress worn by Natalie Imbruglia. 

Packham said: “Mayfair Maison is a fantastic idea for shoppers and designers alike. We get to curate a collection of our favourite items for sale whilst shoppers can find one-off pieces from a wonderful range of Mayfair designers in one place. It’s a special event for us and we can’t wait to see it all come together.” 

The experience will run from 9am-8pm on Friday 23 September, 10am-8pm on Saturday 24 September and 10am-5pm on Sunday 25 September.
