Moda Operandi names SVP of Marketing and VP of PR & Communications

Moda Operandi announced Tuesday that it has named Evelyn Kim and Souri Kim Senior Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of PR & Communications, respectively. The appointments follow the company’s expansion of its marketing and communications teams.

 
As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Evelyn Kim, who heads to Moda Operandi from Reed Krakoff where she was CMO, will oversee the company’s marketing strategy, including new brand initiatives and new designer partnerships. Souri Kim, who was previously the Senior Publicity Director for KCD, will lead the company’s PR team and oversee external and partner communication strategies.
 
“2015 ushered in a period of tremendous growth and expansion for the business, with the addition of new designers, categories and customer experiences, all of which received an overwhelming response from our clients. We quickly recognized the need to expand our marketing efforts, amplifying and supporting these and future endeavors,” said Deborah Nicodemus, CEO of Moda Operandi. “We are thrilled to welcome two seasoned marketing and public relations experts, and I am confident that Evelyn’s and Souri’s leadership will further enhance Moda Operandi’s brand awareness worldwide.”

The appointment of Souri Kim was effective immediately. He reports directly to Evelyn Kim, who will assume her role from August 17. She will report directly to Nicodemus.
