Net-A-Porter buys My-Wardrobe

Published
Dec 22, 2014

A new consolidation in the high-end e-retailer sector. In trying to connect to the My-Wardrobe homepage, Internet users have discovered that they are being re-directed to the three Net-à-Porter portals, which include The Outnet and Mr Porter.

According to Retail Week, the e-retailer form the Richemont universe has only bought the domain name, and no shares. Two years ago, My-Wardrobe announced that it would be concentrating on women's fashion and expanding internationally with a quiet entry into France. Founded in 2006 by Sarah Curran, a former journalist and owner of a multibrand store near London at the time, the My-Wardrobe site offered mid-range clothing.
