New Era Cap: departure of the company's president

Pete Augustine, who joined New Era in 1990 as the company's first accountant, resigned from his position as president of the American group specialised in headwear early last week.

Without disclosing any information on the reason(s) behind this departure, New Era emphasised that it was a decision made with no hard feelings.

In addition, the company says it will not conduct a search to replace Augustine, and that Chris Koch, its CEO and a member of the founding family, will take over the role of president in addition to his duties as CEO.
