New wave of luxury retail heads for the Gold Coast

Published

A new wave of luxury retailers are set to open on Australia's Gold Coast this month as part of Queensland's redeveloped Pacific Fair mall.

New wave of luxury retail heads for the Gold Coast - Givenchy

International fashion houses Chanel and Givenchy have been confirmed to open standalone boutiques. They will be joined by fellow foreign brands Hugo Boss, Mecca Cosmetica and Max Mara

Australian labels Aje, Gorman, Scanlan & Theodore and Zimmermann will also join the global brands.

The new store openings are part of the Pacific Fair $670 million redevelopment.

Several retailers have already opened including Lee, H&M, David Jones, Kate Spade and Christian Louboutin. For many, the boutique marks an official entry into the city.

Pacific Fair is on track to be completed by mid-2016. The Gold Coast attracts more than 12 million visitors per year, with the centre pitched as a platform to attract shoppers from all over the world.
