Sportswear giant Puma has announced the appointment of Nina Graf-Vlachy as general manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), effective 1 October. In her new role, she will report directly to Arne Freundt, General Manager EMEA.

Nina Graf-Vlachy is Puma's new GM in the DACH region - Puma

The Slovenian national first joined Puma in 2013, and became head of global strategy in 2015. According to Puma, during this time Graf-Vlachy laid the foundation of the company’s new women’s strategy.

In 2018, the executive was promoted to global director of the go-to-market department, where she has improved the brand’s product creation and go-to-market processes.

Prior to joining Puma, she completed a PhD in Chemistry and worked as project manager at the Boston Consulting Group.

Nina Graf-Vlachy takes over as DACH general manager from Matthias Bäumer, who has been recently appointed as general manager of BU Teamsport.
