Orsay opens first store in the Middle East

The German womenswear label at the end of August launched its first store in the Middle East, based in the Sahara Mall in Sharjah, the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. 

The store opening is only Orsay’s first step in its expansion plans for the Middle East, said the company from its international headquarters in Willstätt, Germany.

The Sharjah store, which spreads over 140 square meters, will be followed by the opening of a flagship store in Dubai in December. The clothing brand also plans to launch more locations in the Persian Gulf in 2016.

Orsay, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, operates around 630 branded stores worldwide.
