POC Sports appoints Jonas Sjögren as new CEO

As or February 1, Federico Minoli will pass the torch. The interim CEO for POC Sports who replaced founder Stefan Ytterborn in September, will return to his role as chairman of the board for POC Sports and Dainese.

Since the end of 2015 POC has been part of the Dainese group, an Investcorp portfolio company.

To lead the Swedish sports manufacturer of accessories and apparel for winter sports and biking, the company has hired Jonas Sjögren. Sjögren has experience in the TV and media industry.

Most recently, he was CEO of the Discovery Networks Sweden, where he was responsible for leading and supporting 200 employees.

The brand which was founded in 2005 is currently present in over 40 markets.
