Parisian textile/apparel industry trade show Première Vision has further extended the scope of its event focusing on apparel sourcing, by bringing together the Première Vision Manufacturing, The Sourcing Connection, Knitwear Solutions and Leather Manufacturing sections under a single name: PV Manufacturing.

The event's four sections are all adopting ‘Manufacturing’ as their denomination - Première Vision

The event dedicated to sourcing opportunities from regions close to the heart of Europe, such as North Africa, central and eastern Europe, Mauritius and Madagascar, previously known as PV Manufacturing, is now labelled PV Manufacturing Proximity, and will showcase 127 exhibitors at next February’s session. The Sourcing Connection, which instead focuses on sourcing opportunities from further afield, especially the Asia-Pacific region, will instead feature 37 exhibitors, under the new name PV Manufacturing Overseas.

However, the show’s relabelling is not related to geography only, and extends also to events for specific materials. The section formerly known as Knitwear Solutions is now called PV Manufacturing Knitwear, and will showcase 26 exhibitors at its next session. Finally, Leather Manufacturing becomes PV Manufacturing Leather, featuring for the time being about 27 leather apparel specialists.

The shared umbrella name is designed to clarify and emphasise the range of finished products on show at the Villepinte exhibition centre, though not all of the sections of the Manufacturing event will be located in the same part of the venue. The Proximity and Knitwear sections will be located in Hall 6, which is mostly occupied by the exhibitors of the PV Fabrics show. They will therefore be at the opposite end of the venue from the Overseas section, based in Hall 2. The Leather section will instead be located in Hall 3, a logical choice as this is also the space dedicated to the Première Vision Leather show.

The next edition of Première Vision Paris will be held from February 12 to 14 at the Villepinte exhibition centre. It is expected to host 1,777 exhibitors, 3% more than in February 2018. As reported by FashionNetwork.comPremière Vision will launch a new show next summer, called Sport, to be staged in Portland, USA.
