Sandro has named a new manager. Since Jean-Philippe Hecquet departed the brand last year to join Lanvin, SMCP’s flagship brand has been helmed by the boss of the group, Daniel Lalonde. The group announced on April 2 that it has opted for an internal promotion, naming Isabelle Allouch to the position of CEO. Allouch, who has headed Claudie Pierlot for the last five years, will take up the role on 8 April 2019. Jean-Baptiste Dacquin, the HR director of the group, will take over from Allouch as general manager of the Claudie Pierlot brand.

“We are delighted to announce today the appointment of Isabelle Allouch as head of Sandro, and of Jean-Baptiste Dacquin as head of Claudie Pierlot. Both of them are group talents who have contributed considerably to the development of SMCP, which has become a worldwide leader in accessible luxury with a turnover of over a billion euros,” said Lalonde in a press release.

“I have complete confidence in the ability of Isabelle and Jean-Baptiste to continue to pursue the incredible trajectories of Sandro and Claudie Pierlot and wish them all the best in their new roles, along with all the SMCP teams.”

The SMCP group, owned by Shandong Ruyi for the past three years, reached a turnover of €1.02 billion in 2018.
