Selected by Kate Moss to launch in UK at Pure London this month

The Selected by Kate Moss label is making its UK debut at Festival of Fashion Pure London from July 21-23. It will be the first time the collection, from fast-growing Scandinavian label Nikkie, can be seen in Moss’s home market and is likely to make an impact given the instant recognition Moss still has.

Created by Dutch designer Nikkie Plessen, the collab with the British supermodel has seen Moss fronting the Nikkie collection for several seasons. Each time she selects an edit of her favourite pieces that make up the Selected offer.

The collection “represents the tough yet feminine style of Kate” and features jackets, dresses, skirts, trousers and tops. The SS20 collection that will be seen at Pure also has a strong focus on ‘country’, in black and white, with embroidered materials and “feminine shapes”.

Plessen said the company is growing its distribution worldwide and the UK launch is a key part of this.

Kate Moss may be a veteran model these days but she’s still making a major impact on fashion and has numerous deals across both the mass and premium markets. Only this week she was named the face of Zadig & Voltaire’s AW19/20 collection and is also fronting Armani’s campaign for that season. She appeared in Stella McCartney’s summer campaign this year too.
