Sofía Vergara to unleash her third fragrance

Sofía Vergara is poised to release the third perfume as part of her growing fragrance franchise with Parlux Fragrances Ltd.

The scent, dubbed "Tempting" by the "Modern Family" actress, is set to roll out to Perfumania this month before entering broader retail distribution in September, at a retail price point of US$32 for a 1-oz. eau de parfum and US $55 for a 3.4-oz. eau de parfum.

The bottle, which mimics the hourglass shape of a woman's body, contains a fragrance described as fruity, floral and oriental -- featuring top notes of pineapple, mandarin blossom and acai berry; middle notes of Colombian passion flower, purple vanilla orchid and star jasmine, and base notes of sandalwood, vanilla and caramelized musk.

Commenting on the new perfume release Parlux president Donald Loftus said: "This one is probably the most Sofía ... She uses her femininity to all of its advantages. This fragrance is an attempt to capture that for her fans."
