The new Nike x Comme des Garçons Dunk Low finally launches on Thursday

After being unveiled last September during Comme des Garçons' SS20 Women's Paris runway show, the new Comme des Garçons x Nike Dunks duo will finally be released on Thursday.

The latest Comme des Garçons and Nike Dunk collaboration is a follow-up to 2017's "clear" Dunk Hi, which featured a unique clear plastic toe box to show off the front of the feet. For the new unisex designs, Comme des Garçons' Rei Kawakubo has once again played around with materials, adding a layer of translucent Nexkin fabric over a Comme des Garçons monogram print on one Dunk, and over the camo-style pattern of the second. The finished result gives an interesting textured effect to the flat Nexkin fabric, in keeping with Kawakubo's design ethos to push boundaries and try new things.

The Dunks will be available in sizes 5 to 14 for women and and sizes 3.5 to 12.5 for men, and will launch exclusively through Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market on Thursday, May 14.
