Toshi names new commercial chief

At-home concierge service Toshi has hired former Galvan CEO Paul O’Regan as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).

O’Regan was most recently chief executive officer of Galvan, the London-based eveningwear label - Galvan

O’Regan has been acting as strategic advisor to the company for the past three months.

Launched in 2017, the company is trying to accelerate its growth after securing more than 30 retail partners including the likes of Chanel, Erdem, Roland Mouret and Huntsman.

The firm was created by Sojin Lee, one of the founding team of Net-A-Porter, with the intention of providing a last-mile solution for luxury and retail brands. Bridging the gap between in-store and online shopping, it offers luxury delivery services such as Wait & Try, Size Up/Size Down, Try Before You Buy, Inspire Me and Pinning & Fitting.

In his new role, O’Regan will be drawing on his experience gained from working at various luxury fashion brands. He was most recently CEO of London-based women’s eveningwear brand Galvan, during which time he oversaw a five-fold increase in revenue, launched the bridal and accessories lines and opened the New York operations. During his tenure, the company turned a profit for the first time.

Prior to that, O’Regan held several executive positions at Gucci Group (now Kering), Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, and AllSaints. He has spent his career working in both London and New York.

“Toshi is redefining the retail landscape, and I believe that the at-home services that [it] provides will become standard, and the new norm of shopping, in the immediate future,” he commented.

“My focus will be on working closely with luxury and retail brand partners to fully maximise their KPIs and strategic goals – to enhance their customer service experience, to optimise their inventory, reduce their returns, increase AOV and to drive significant revenue.”

Toshi CEO Sojin Lee added: “I have known Paul for many years, and he has a proven record at some of the world’s best brands. He immediately recognised the vision and market opportunity of Toshi, while he was at Galvan, and I am thrilled that someone of his experience and calibre is joining our executive team. We are well-positioned to scale the business in terms of brand partners, end consumers and new geographical markets.”
