"François Kress will contribute his significant luxury industry know-how to help TrueFacet become world leader in luxury jewellery, and to add to the brand's partnerships in the jewellery sector," the website stated in a press release.

François Kress was put in charge of Carolina Herrera last April. He was formerly Global President for Stuart Weitzman, the luxury women's footwear manufacturer acquired by American company Coach. Before joining Stuart Weitzman in December 2013, the manager, a graduate of the French Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, was CEO for The Row, the New York luxury brand owned by the Olsen sisters.

Before that Kress spent a large part of his career working for several luxury brands, always in top management positions. He was notably CEO for Prada and Miu Miu USA, and CEO for Bulgari USA, also working internationally for the LVMH group and its brands, from Fendi and Louis Vuitton to Céline and Loewe.
