Uniqlo unveils collaborative winter collection with Alexander Wang

Published
Oct 24, 2018

Alexander Wang has put his latest spin on winter wear in collaboration with Uniqlo, partnering with the Japanese retailer for a new capsule collection under Uniqlo's Heattech line.

The line will be available online and in Uniqlo's New York City stores on November 8 before launching to all Uniqlo stores on November 9 - Via Uniqlo x Alexander Wang

The Uniqlo x Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2018 collection offers men's and women's underwear, undershirts, bodysuits and leggings in a range of neutrals for men and an added neon green for women. Prices fall within Uniqlo's typically affordable range from $9.90 to $29.90.

Uniqlo first launched its Heattech line of clothing, designed with smart fabric to keep wearers warm during the winter, in 2003. While the retailer's own collections under the line have kept to basics, the partnership with Wang gives the brand a refreshing update with a high-fashion air.

"New York designer Alexander Wang re-envisions Uniqlo LifeWear," the retailer said on the collection's online launch page. "A new series of Heattech designed to be layered below or simply worn alone for alluring cold weather support. Innovative Heattech fabrics are crafted and contoured with elevated techniques to enhance the body with style, warmth, and ease."

The line made its debut in New York on October 23, and will be available online and in Uniqlo's New York City stores on November 8 before launching to all Uniqlo stores on November 9.
