Valérie Duport leaves Chanel for Kering

Valérie Duport has joined Kering after spending 27 years with Chanel, where she acted as director of global press services and public relations.

A spokesperson for the luxury goods group, notably owner of the Gucci and Saint Laurent brands, confirmed that Duport is expected to join the company, without for the time being indicating her new job title.

It is highly likely that Duport will succeed Louise Beveridge, Kering's former director of communications, who left the group at the end of September 2015. Her position has been vacant until now.
