Published
Mar 10, 2016

Denham has clearly found its place in Japan. The Dutch brand, a source of creativity and innovation in the denim world, is now operating some twenty branded stores in the land of the rising sun. The latest was opened on 9th March inside the Dai Nagoya skyscraper, in Nagoya.

Business in this market is going well and the brand's founder, Jason Denham, has decided to exploit its potential. He announced the creation of a joint-venture company with Look Incorporated. The Japanese group is highly experienced in the development of European brands in the local market. It is, in fact, a partner of APC, Repetto, Marimekko and Paul & Joe.

According to the Japanese media, the new company, called Denham Japan, is planning to have 50 stores by 2020. At which point, Denham's entire Japanese operations could be worth JPY4 billion (over €32 million).
