Italian company Salvatori, based in Querceta, near Lucca, Tuscany, is renowned worldwide for its ability to transform natural stone, generating highly original and surprising textures, and for the development of the revolutionary 'Lithoverde' recycled stone. During the London Design Week in September, Salvatori inaugurated a showroom in the UK capital, its fourth after Milan, Zurich and Sydney.

A view of the Salvatori showroom in London

The showroom is located in a sumptuous historic building on the corner between Wigmore St. and Wimpole St., in the heart of the West End. It showcases the entire range of Salvatori products, including the 'Wall & Floor' special finishings line, the sinks, bathtubs and shower trays of the 'Bathroom' collection and the home decoration products of the 'Home Collection'.

The showroom was designed by leading Italian architect-designer Piero Lissoni, while Elisa Ossino took care of the interior decoration, distinctive for its attractive corners and niches. The showroom is set to become a key hub for UK architects and designers.

Salvatori's first international break-through dates back to 1950, when founder Guido Salvatori invented the 'Split Face' (Spaccatello) finishing. Nowadays, after several prestige collaborations over the years with clients such as Armani, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Vuitton, Boglioli, Canali, DKNY, Karen Millen, Tod's, Ferragamo and the Boston Consulting Group, the family's third generation, led by CEO Gabriele Salvatori and his brother Guido, is taking the brand's tradition for innovation forward. Close by Salvatori's headquarters, located near the famous Carrara marble quarries in Italy, is the brand's 600 m² training centre, opened in 2015.
